Responsible for day-to-day management of fulfillment, logistics and reverse logistics; will be measured on key metrics such as inventory turns, store-level shrinkage, total inventory dollars, obsolescence, fill rates and reverse logistics cost as percent or revenue
Manage outsourced fulfillment vendor to ensure high service levels
Leads analysis and design of reverse logistics processes including RMAs, advanced exchanges and repairs
Manage interactions with retail store management and ensure achievement of appropriate store-level metrics
Oversee the development, implementation and utilization of logistics planning systems
Assist with the analysis of freight costs and carrier performance and recommend changes as required
Responsible for the hiring, motivating, evaluating, developing group/department personnel
Own Forecast Change
Analysis including Bill of Materials and Cost Model Preparation Lead strategic planning and process planning for development of dynamic replenishment programs such as VMI, Consignment Programs, etc.
Ensure execution of write-offs/sell back as part of reverse logistics
Responsible for managing a team including a manager and analysts
Requirements
Minimum 10+ years experience in inventory management, supply chain management, product planning, demand planning, retail replenishment, and inventory controls
BA/BS degree required in Business, Economics, Supply Chain or related fields
Demonstrate experience with an outsourced logistics model
Strong applications and analytics background required
Ability to model and analyze business scenarios and develop recommendations on quantitative and qualitative inputs
The successful candidate must get along well with people and be able to work in and help create a team environment
Oracle experience a plus
